Summary

May was a month which showcase the dark phase of markets. They dont care. They never cared. India witnesses one of the biggest health crisis this month and this was no less than an National Health Emergency. One another hand Markets witnessed their all time high. Thats how the beast is. Many investors anticipated a fall and they missed one of shaprest rally. Hence we have always preached the concept of asset allocation and rebalancing and our clients have benefited from it as you are not required when to enter or should I exit now or later ?

The Model Portfolio is doing good. Infact its doing fantastically well considering we are almost 50% in Debt and rest is Equity and Gold and its performance is 2.5 times the anticipated performance. No Doubts markets did well and our Moderate portfolio particiapted in that too. Our Equity Funds delivered 6% to 9% returns last month with 9% alone from Gold Fund exposure. Debt funds did what they did best , stayed positive and contributed some .

Portfolio Theme/Suitability :This is a generic portfolio suitable for medium risk profile with medium (5 years) to Long term(15 years) horizon to get the best out of all the asset class. Someone who is looking for Above Fixed returns taking help of equity to beat the inflation. And with our routine rebalancing and tactical moves we would try to achieve this goal for a lumpsum investments.

Portfolio Value(As on 31/05/21) : 11.38 lacs

Targeted Return (CAGR): 10 %

Achieved Return (CAGR) : 24%
